Summer Term 2024
Buckinghamshire Council: Opportunity Bucks Summer 2024 Project - Completed
We were thrilled to announce that the return of the Opportunity Bucks Project for the Summer Term, was an outstanding success. Combining an 8-week online Enterprise Academy and an in Tech-Lab for a real-world project.
Over 70 students attended th Tech-Lab and built a Microsoft PowerApp for Buckinghamshire Council as part of the Opportunity Bucks programme. The project concluded with a “Dragons’ Den” event, where teams pitched their app solutions to a panel of industry experts and investors.

Milton Keynes App: Summer 2024 Project - Completed
This online project involved students from our Enterprise Academy community building a Microsoft PowerApp to create a volunteer onboarding APP, and all Branding and Marketing Materials for Broughton and Milton Keynes Village Parish Council.
The students met every Tuesday and Thursday evening to develop the app, then came together at MKU for 3 amazing in-person days. With the hilight being – pronting their own t-shirts at MKU.
Throughout the process, young people learned about the Microsoft Power Platform and developed core business, technical, and interpersonal skills with the support of industry experts.
Spring Term 2024
Cloudy Foundation SkillBase Spring Programme 2024 - working in Bucks and Milton Keynes - Completed
Our Spring Term online project is supported 35 students aged between 14 – 22 from our Enterprise Academy community, to build an exciting app to organise bookings and streamline processes for Local Councils.
Approximately 25 of those students took part in an exciting and dynamic in-person event at one of our partnering universities. Giving up their time during half term, to work on the marketing materials needed for the new App, including some videography for a promotional video, graphics and content design.
BNU - In Person event
During February half term man of our students attended an in-person event, either at BNU or MKU.

Autumn Term 2023
Buckinghamshire Disability Service Project - Completed
This project, sponsored by BuDS, saw students from our Enterprise Academy work with industry professionals to learn how to design, build, and market an app for BuDS’ Fair4All Programme. Students learned how to use the Microsoft Power Platform and a variety of other interpersonal and business skills.
Buckinghamshire Council: App-ortunity Project - Completed
This online project, sponsored by the Buckinghamshire Council, saw students from our Enterprise Academy build and market a Microsoft Powerapp for the Opportunity Bucks programme, using Microsoft Powerapps for real world use and clients.
Other Previous Projects
Aylesbury Town Council Project - Completed
This project, sponsored by Aylesbury Town Council & The Clare Foundation, with association with Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. The students had to design, build, and market with digital Tools and the Microsoft Power Platform and as with all projects industry Experts were there to support their learning.
National Association Of Local Councils Project - Completed
This project saw students of our Enterprise Academy, sponsored by the National Association of Local Councils, build an app to help the organisation manage their award scheme for local councils. With the help of industry professionals, students learned Microsoft Powerapps and an array of related business skills.
At the end of the project, there was an optional ‘bootcamp’ where students could partake in 2 days of work experience with CloudyIT.
Haywards Heath Town Council Project - Completed , Enterprise Academy, Ages 14-22
This project, sponsored by Haywards Heath Town Council, saw students of the Enterprise Academy build an app for Haywards Council. The students learned a variety of digital and interpersonal skills from experts in the industry.

Solution Acceleration Hack!!
CloudyIT & Microsoft "Solution Acceleration Hack" - Completed
Continuing its drive to develop modern feature-rich apps, our corporate partner, CloudyIT, invited us to take part alongside them, in a Microsoft ‘’Solution Acceleration Hack’’.
Our Enterprise Academy students – Dennis, James, Sanvika, and Thomas, took part in the 3 day project in-person at CloudyIT offices. Supported by Cloudy Foundation and CloudyIT technical staff, the group was joined online by Hack experts from Microsoft in developing a prototype Accounting & Finance app for the local government sector.
This video gives the accounts of the students participating in the Hack and their personal experiences of working with business partners on “lightening talks” and exploring ideas using Artificial Intelligence (AI), coding forms and tables, and linking features and functionality together.
