Cloudy Foundation was established as a Charity in January 2021 as a charitable foundation set up by Cloudy IT Group as an independent Charity. Cloudy IT donates 10% + of its profits to the Charity. Last year we supported 104 young people to gain digital skills and work experience, connecting with education and business leaders and inspiring their ambition. This year it will be at least three times that number.

David Hall, Managing Director of the Cloudy IT group is very passionate about supporting and helping young people to progress in life and the IT Company was asked a number of years ago to help with upskilling young people digitally.

The Company sponsored and provided expertise for initiatives like to Aylesbury youth survey back in 2016 and ran the award-winning App-prentice challenge in a number of Buckinghamshire schools. The Charity is very much an outflow of those initiatives.

We have worked across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes schools and colleges and have developed fantastic support from Bucks New University and Milton Keynes University (MKU) to support especially our in person events. The Charity has a growing number of business contacts and partners who share expertise and donate time to our SkillBase Programme. They include Microsoft, TD Synnex and the Peter Jones Foundation, Mach 6 Media and many others.
