Here is a record of our outcomes and successes in 2022/3.104 students and a hugely positive experience for students, schools, businesses and a huge satisfaction for us!
We welcomed over 100 students and worked with partners to develop impactful apps for organisations that improved their real-world efficient and effectiveness and at the same time enormously benefited the students that took part.
In 2023/24 we will work with three times as many students and in a programme that continues to develop and create even more outcomes and benefits.

Progression is key to what we are about, and we measure where young people are across a range of skills, technical, business, It, and personal development skills/communication etc.
We then measure them at the end of the programme so we can see how they have developed and progressed – and most importantly, so can they. We use a development web graphic so students can see visually how their skill base has increased. Hence the Programme name.
Many students will come back in at different levels, starting as students, then advanced students, mentors, and tutors. We can then demonstrate how these skills have developed over the programmes/years they have been with us.
By working on our online Enterprise Academy project our students covered the following topics and developed the following skills.
- Introduction to Microsoft 365
- Practical use of Microsoft Teams
- Practical work on Unified Modelling Language (UML)
- Practical work using MS SharePoint and databases
- Practical work using MS Forms and Power Pages
- Practical work using MS Flows and Automate
- Practical work using MS PowerApps
- Creation of an App for real-world Town Council use
- Employer encounters with Town Councils, Microsoft, QA and CloudyIT
- Working as a team to meet a customer brief
- Working remotely and to deadlines
- Practicing leadership skills and peer support
- Problem-solving and using digital tech to find solutions
- Presenting to project stakeholders
- Exploring workplace skills and career opportunities
